DevSecOps Practitioner (DSOP)® Training Course

OVERVIEW

Designed as the natural progression from the DevSecOps Foundation course, the DevSecOps Practitioner program transitions from conceptual understanding to technical implementation. This course integrates new techniques into existing practices, highlighting key metrics to optimize DevSecOps outcomes. It provides strategies to navigate people, process, and technology challenges. The curriculum begins by exploring foundational concepts in depth and evaluating whether to adopt existing metrics or develop custom expressions tailored to your specific DevOps context. The central focus involves architectural evolution, infrastructure construction, and the optimization of CI/CD pipelines. The course concludes with best practices for experimentation and insights into the future trajectory of DevSecOps.

This advanced course offers sophisticated methods for exploring DevSecOps within your organization. Each module presents practical maturity guides, illustrating how to harmonize people, process, and technology to enhance overall results.

Our goal is to equip participants with the methods, tools, and practices needed to foster reliability across the organization, utilizing real-world scenarios and case studies. This course prepares learners to pass the DevSecOps Practitioner certification exam.

Please note: The DevOps Institute DevSecOps Foundation certification is a prerequisite for the DevSecOps Practitioner exam.

CERTIFICATION EXAM

Passing the 90-minute examination, consisting of 40 multiple-choice questions with a minimum score of 65%, results in the SRE Practitioner certificate. This certification is governed and maintained by the DevOps Institute.
