Agile Project Management with Kanban Training Course

By the conclusion of this training, participants will be capable of:

• Increasing the number of work items completed per unit of time.
• Decreasing the time necessary to complete work items.
• Improving work predictability, providing clearer insights into completion dates.
• Managing flow metrics, such as throughput, lead time, work in progress, and work item age.
• Utilizing flow charts, including Cumulative Flow Diagrams, Lead Time Histograms, and Work Aging Charts.
• Employing statistical forecasting methods like Monte Carlo simulations and Service Level Agreements.
• Designing a Kanban System through a methodical process (STATIK).

This two-day program is tailored to equip teams embedded within an Agile Release Train (ART) with the skills needed to thrive in an Agile setting. By leveraging frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and XP, participants gain practical experience in functioning as cohesive Agile Teams, managing backlogs, and executing iterations with precision. The curriculum highlights the specific role of the team within the broader ART, fostering a deep understanding of how to collaborate, plan, execute, and drive continuous improvement in tandem with peer teams.

Furthermore, the training readies teams for active participation in Program Increment (PI) events, addressing both Team-level and Program-level activities. Special attention is given to preparing for upcoming PI planning sessions. Upon successful completion, participants will be well-prepared to sit for the certification exam required to become a SAFe® Practitioner (SP).
