Superset Data Visualization and Dashboard Consulting Requirement
A major financial services firm sought to transition from an industry-leading BI solution in one of its core products to an open-source platform (Superset), aiming to significantly reduce licensing costs.
Deliverables NobleProg engaged in multiple project meetings with the client to thoroughly understand the requirements, scope, risks, and technical environment. From this foundation, we developed a comprehensive Statement of Work to guide and track the project’s progress. Our lead consultant focused on aligning the existing data architecture to meet specific reporting needs. They recommended adjustments to the data stores to maximize Superset’s capabilities and ensure optimal performance, while providing the implementation team with necessary guidance. After optimizing the data store and pipeline, our consultants began building and deploying various reports based on existing requirements and new business or customer requests. To meet specific data presentation needs, custom plug-ins were developed to enable more interactive features, such as drill-down capabilities.
Outcome Consultants developed new dashboards while ensuring that sufficient knowledge was transferred to the client’s organization to support ongoing maintenance of dashboards and reports. The project remains active and has been highly regarded by both the client’s business teams and their end-users. In recognition of its success, the scope has been expanded to encompass additional products and clients.
